GPS PATHFINDER OFFICE PORTS FULL

Stay Tuned.£350 + VAT- In full working order Free UK delivery Trimble Pathfinder Pocket Portable Rugged GPS Reciever 44310-00-ENG In good condition and in full. A GPS Firmware release for Trimble MGIS products would be needed in order to track and lock onto PRN 133.

  • I will post any updates I find out about PRN 133 that is taking the place of PRN 135.
  • In a future Post I will go into more detail of the availability of VRS/RTN corrections in the Midwestern USA. Your alternative for Real-time correction or for navigation is to then use a local VRS/RTN correction (not availabe in all states). Your next step would be to Post Process your GPS to achieve required accuracies. If neither of these SBAS/WAAS satellites were available to provide you a 1-5 meter horizontal solution then you were left with an Autonomous GPS signal (10-15 meters in horizontal accuracy). If you could not receive one of them then your receiver (if set to track both under real-time settings) would try to obtain a correction from the other.
  • In the past 3 years we have been able to receive a live correction from either PRN 135 or PRN 138 on our Mapping Grade GPS units.
  • This loss of PRN 135 will affect the North Western part of North America. For more information click on this article link: SBAS/WAAS PRN 135 Satellite Ceases Broadcast. The deterioration of the satellite’s ability to remain stable over the past few days caused intermittent data link disruptions that rendered the satellite unreliable for further data transmissions.
  • The Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS-Real-Time) Intelsat CRW geostationary (GEO) satellite “PRN 135” has ceased broadcasting the WAAS signal as of December 16, 2010.
  • See Logging Settings/Antenna Settings in the Trimble TerraSync Getting Started Guide.
  • Once the external Receiver/Antenna is turned off then change the Antenna Height and Antenna Type for the internal GPS receiver on your data collector before you reopen the file or open a new file.

  • If using Bluetooth to connect from your data collector (Juno, Nomad, Yuma or other device) to a Pro Receiver (Pro XRT, Pro XH, Pro XT, Pro 6H, Pro6T) be sure to close down the data file before turning off the external Receiver/Antenna.

  • If you disconnected the antenna cable and need to use the Geo’s own antenna, then be sure change the Antenna Height and Antenna Type before you reopen the file or open a new file.
  • **Only disconnect the antenna cable if the data file is closed.
  • Connect to GPS if it did not auto connect to the receiver.

TerraSync allows you to select the antenna height per file or per feature. Depending on how you are positioning your antenna and what types of features you are collecting you may need to change your antenna height in the same file.

Now you change the height of your internal/external antenna and the type. Select “Logging Settings” and click on the wrench symbol to the right of “Antenna Height”. Start TerraSync and change the “Skyplot” menu screen to the “Setup” menu. The following screen shots show where to set up your internal or external Antenna Height and Type in TerraSync.
